This Wednesday, or November 13th for all of my loyal viewers from the future, the Courier Journal had a story that sounded very interesting, and relevant to anyone in the JCPS program, as I currently am. The story talks about the idea for a new JCPS school, one designed by the community. This school will be designed around the ideas of people who send in letters suggesting different types of physical school design and learning programs. According to superintendent Donna Hargens, the school was thought of as a way to reach students who need a different type of curriculum than what is offered in most schools. If anyone reading my blog has any good ideas for this school, I urge you to send them in, because your suggestion could help a student learn.
