Cinematography!
Movies make up a large amount of entertainment today, and even though television and the Internet challenged them, they stood strong, without having to fully demassify. There are several reasons movies have stood up against contenders like TV, such as how much money is put into making a movie, which stands out against TV, which doesn't have as much of a budget. Another reason that movies have stayed around is because they are social, and people want to see movies with their friends, and hate to see one after everyone else. A third reason that movies have not had to completely demassify is because it is an immersive experience, with a large, bright screen in a dark room, with no pesky siblings bugging the viewers. For these reasons, I believe that movies will stand up against whatever new form of media will be thrown at them in the future.
